In solidarity with Lebanon, 15 Beautreillis is hosting arts organization Temporary Art Platform (TAP) from 30 November through 21 December at our gallery space. TAP is a Paris- and Beirut-based non-profit founded by curator Amanda Abi Khalil that makes possible “the conditions for communities, private bodies and governmental institutions to recognize that contemporary artists can be allies in driving enduring social change amidst precarious contexts.”
During their time at the gallery space, TAP is exhibiting prints from their fundraiser for relief efforts, including works from Annabel Daou, Basile Ghosn, Dalia Baassiri, Dia Mrad, Mahmoud El Safadi, Nathalie Harb, Randa Mirza, Renoz, Tamara Kalo, and Yasmina Hilal. The artists were commissioned for TAP’s billboard series, In the blink of an eye, that took place in Beirut in 2024.
The gallery’s lower level will serve as a temporary atelier for artist Hussein Nassereddine, and video works by video journalist and performer Lujain Jo and multidisciplinary artists Racha Baroud and Yara Boustany/Nader Bahsoun will be on view through 21 December.
