A wooden wardrobe is burning. A man and a woman are looking at a seemingly cancer lump on the man's body that is reflected in the wardrobe mirror. The light is weakening and the fire is still burning.

Director's statement:

In "In Silence Things Speak" I worked with the footage, used and unused, from my previous films and shootings in order to create another way of receiving the imagery material, to express something about the abstract relation between human body and body of things. This film can also be seen as an editing exercise made in my free time while waiting for the possibility to make a new film. Spontaneous it is, yet I feel that this film (or this moving image) has moved me in a quiet way, perhaps because through this film the images of my parents, of my home and hometown landscape have spoken in a freer spirit.
